Primary oversight of Whipsaw’s San Francisco satellite studio.
Strategic program + project management, design oversight, and lead/team designer on a wide variety of products, ranging from emotive consumer electronics to precision medical and scientific systems. A key contributor developing standards for the ID client archive, design specifications, and shop organization. I joined Whipsaw as design employee #3.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Client and program management, project and design strategy.
- Multi-faceted team management of ID, UX, UI, and collaborative engineering resources.
- Hands-on direction of cohesive presentations with assets in sketch, mock-up, CAD/rendering,
workflow, and motion formats.
- Creative lead in concept generation and helping to drive development and implementation.
- Participance in Biz-Dev, P.R. and award submission efforts through “pitch” meetings, proposal writing, and generation of submission material.
- Shop management and education.
