About Me
I have been building strategic banking, financial and legislative relationships to further the cannabis industry's access to banking and financial services for more than eight years. Prior to joining FinResults/Lut in January 2023 I served as SVP – Director of Specialty Banking at First Federal since February 2019, I worked at Hybrid Payroll as the Director of Banking Relations and Partner Colorado Credit Union (PCCU) AKA Safe Harbor Private Bank providing some of the earliest access to banking services to the cannabis industry.
Previously,I taught financial literacy courses at Johnson and Wales University and the CU@Denver PEER 1 program and served on the Partner Colorado Foundation raising funds for Education for 3 years. Earlier, I traveled with the US State Department and The Department of Energy on worldwide energy trade missions advocating and lobbying on behalf of Renewable Energy.
I greatly enjoy advocating for causes that mean a great deal to me, including my former role as Chairman on the NCIA Banking Access Committee and have Co-Authored a White Paper directed to Financial Institutions and State Regulatory Agencies on banking the industry and was asked to offer testimony to House Small Business Committee in Washington DC on banking and lending for the Cannabis industry. Additionally, I have been a regular guest lecturer at Florida Gulf Coast University for teaching insight on the Business of Banking Cannabis. Most recently, I was selected to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Cannabis Bankers Association. I am thankful to have the opportunity to bring my skills and resources to Lüt in providing better payments for a better financial future with a modern payments processor, known globally for transforming the payments industry so everyday people can be financially independent.
